Vans Warped Tour Blood Drive
Music saves lives this summer
Approximately 20 percent of the blood donated comes from high schools and colleges. When school is out, donating blood often takes a back seat to other summer activities. This creates a unique challenge for the Red Cross during these critical months. To encourage these blood donors to continue to give during the summer, the Red Cross is off ering special VIP passes to The Vans Warped Tour, the longest running alternative music festival of its type in North America. The tour will stop in Detroit at Comerica Park on July 31,2009.
All donors at the Warped Tour blood drives this summer will receive a free VIP pass to The Vans Warped Tour at Comerica Park.
The qualifying drives are scheduled at American Red Cross donor centers as follows:
• June 29, Dearborn
• June 30, Berkley
• July 1, Detroit
• July 2, Riverview
• July 3, Farmington Hills
Each presenting donor will receive one Red Cross Rocks Tshirt and four VIP backstage passes for the Detroit tour, which
can be used with a purchased Warped Tour ticket. In addition, donors will be entered to win one of three Vans Warped Tour Experience packages, which include two concert tickets and a meet-n-greet with select bands. If you know someone who enjoys music, help spread
the word about this great opportunity. Music lovers can go to www.givelife.org and use sponsor code: warptour to make an appointment for one of the Detroit-area Warped Tour blood drives.
