Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and guidance of the Senior Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Southeastern Michigan Chapter, as well as 11 other client chapters throughout Michigan. These financial records include, but are not limited to the general ledger, trial balance, monthly bank and account reconciliations, statements of financial position, statements of activities, cash flow statements, fixed asset records, etc. Prepares journal entries and acts as a backup to the payroll, accounts payable, cash receipts, and accounts receivable functions. Assists the Senior Accounting Manager with the compilation of the annual budget, and the preparation of annual audit schedules.
