Phlebotomy
This 120-hour comprehensive course will provide theory, skills and principals that will enable participants to perform veni-puncture in varied settings. The program will provide accurate and up-to-date practical information in phlebotomy procedures and includes a 40-hour training module for EKG. Participants will receive theory and lab experience on the use of the EKG monitor and basic electrocardiograph recordings. Upon course completion participants will receive a certificate of completion for Phlebotomy and will be eligible to take the National State Exam for phlebotomy certification. Course fee is $1050 for enrollment.
Requirements:
Current Certificate for Adult CPR/AED training, Diploma/GED, minimum 9th grade readon and math aptitude, pass a Michigan State Police background check, provide a negetive PPD TB skin or chest x-ray result.
